Heather Hayhurst has a lifelong love of yoga, dance and movement. She is an experienced certified 200 Hour Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance and received her training in 2005 at Atmananda in New York City led by founder, Jhon Tamayo. While studying at Penn State University, Heather was introduced to yoga, Oriental philosophy and meditation that led her to the awareness of bringing balance into your body through movement and breath. With over fifteen years of yoga experience, she continues to study and is deeply honored to guide and facilitate others through their own unique yoga journey. She encourages students to discover happiness through self-care and to play both on and off the mat with strong intention, skillful action, gratitude and an open loving heart. Specializing in Vinyasa, Heather’s classes are infused with positivity and focus on form and flow. Her yoga classes combine balance, strength, flexibility and alignment with philosophy, breath awareness and meditation. Heatherstudied dance since childhood and was recently drawn to Barre with its combined elements of ballet, yoga, pilates, strength training and musicality. She became a certified Barre Above Instructor in 2019 and enjoys creating fun flowing and rhythmic fusion workouts. Heather’s barre classes are empowering, dynamic and will leave you feeling strong and
beautiful inside and out.
